Review Of Ong Bak 3 Movie 2010
Tony Jaa goes balls-to-the-wall crazy, more so than ever before as hard as that is to believe. Not only does he recklessly smash, slash and hurl his victims to oblivion, he even takes a bite out of a poor sap’s neck!? Holy shit! And what the hell is going on with Dan Chupong? This guy looks like someone straight out of a Heavy Metal band.
The legend of begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda’s Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve ‘Nathayut’. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King’s Guard (Supakorn ‘Tok’ Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.

If you missed Ed’s expectations for part 3 and thoughts on part 2, you can find that post here. I wish he had better news, but it sounds like Jaa’s latest is more Ong Bak 2 than Ong Bak…
Most likely, if you are reading this, I reckon Ong Bak Sam is in your future. If I were reading your words via the ether, I would see it, no matter what you prattled on about. All I ask is that your expectations are not the highest. I will not deny there is some knock-your-fisherman-pants-off Tony Jaa action here — but not near enough for my taste.
